COMPASSION IS A SUPER POWER

Compassion is a super power and each and every one of us has it... When we use it, a simple act or a simple gesture can transform rapidly into a monumental effort with profound meaning. This spreads quickly and reinforces itself, creating a viral effect that can have an incredibly positive impact on society. With this amazing super power, we can change the world. This is something we feel passionate about and it is at the heart of what we do and our mission to create #ChangeThroughCompassion. What started in 2015 with a small group of friends wanting to do something good in their community has quickly grown into something much more. In just one year, Coupla Guys and Gals Give Back has grown from 16 events and 1,200 volunteers in Los Angeles to 65 events and more than 3,200 volunteers in three states. We provided hands-on assistance to those in need, raised awareness about issues and inspired a growing number of our volunteers to join our cause: spreading compassion by supporting good causes that benefit People, Animals and the Environment. With the help of our dedicated volunteers and partners, 2016 was a significant year for C3GB. We can’t wait to see what is still to come.

Our Big Three

By design, Coupla Guys and Gals Give Back is not affiliated with any one cause or organization. Instead, we focus on three main areas—people, animals and the environment—and partner with volunteer organizations to provide real, hands-on assistance.

If it has a human element, C3GB wants to be involved. Whether that’s homelessness, childhood poverty, veterans, Special Olympics, mental illness or anything else that relates to the human condition, we connect directly with those in need of help. In extending a hand we learn from them, and learn about ourselves.

ANIMALS

We are passionate about all animals, both domesticated and farm. You’ll find C3GB at the humane society, walking dogs at the pound, pet adoption events—anything to help them find their forever families. And we are also working to help animals in the factory farming system, by educating the public at large about the suffering these animals endure for human consumption.

ENVIRONMENT

We only have this one planet, which is why it’s imperative that we connect to, and understand, the world around us. C3GB is involved in restoration projects, cleanups, tree plantings, deforestation education, and learning about the impact our daily lifestyles have on our world.

Improved Schools for 3,000+ Kids

700+ volunteers helped paint, refurbish and rejuvenate 6 elementary schools in Compton, CA

Coached, Cheered and Assisted 700+ Special Athletes

Connected our volunteer community to those in our society who live with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy or other developmental disabilities.

Encouraged and Mentored 7,000+ Kids

Worked directly with kids through events to provide guidance, connection, encouragement and mentorship.

Served 10,000+ Meals to Those In Need

Supported homeless missions in Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas and Miami, helping to serve those in need.

Educated 700+ Individuals on Issues Related to Compassion for Animals

Organized educational and awareness events at animal sanctuaries to help society better understand our factory food system and our connection to animals.

Cleaned up Our Beaches, Waterways and Natural Habitats

900+ volunteers helped to improve our environment. Removed hundreds of pounds of trash and plastic from ocean, beaches, rivers, lakes, nature preserves, etc.
